The Problem
SimpleBooks had two growing sub-brands — Loku Business (a Sinhala-language business education platform) and ShopBook (a finance management app for small businesses) — but no dedicated content system for either. Content was inconsistent, production was slow, and neither brand had a clear editorial identity separate from the main SimpleBooks channel.
My Role
I was brought in to manage the content pipeline for both sub-brands on top of the main SimpleBooks channel — handling research, scripting, team coordination, and publishing across all platforms whenever needed.
The Insight
Running content for one brand is hard. Running it for three simultaneously — with different audiences, different tones, and different platforms — requires a system that doesn't depend on inspiration. It depends on process. This is exactly why my clients don't just get content — they get a documented, repeatable machine that works whether I'm at my desk or not.
